I found myself on Orcas Island via my artist friend Clayton Meyer. He had just lost his home in the Altadena fires, and was offered a place to stay on the island. I made two trips to the island in winter and spring of 2025. These trips provided a plethora of varied material, along with an eclectic array of weather and scenes.
